5 years should be standard and sufficient, must include hips, elbows, health, genetics guarantee
If they also cover temperament, that is even better for your piece of mind.
This type of a guarantee benefits the customer, as it should.
A good breeder would have confident in their breeding program.
Without hesitation they should offer 5 year guarantee on Hips, Health, Genetics and Sound Temperament.

Lifetime guarantee to some breeders mean; that if your dog has life threatening illness at any age that is genetically passed on and confirmed by a vet, it is guaranteed... The QUESTION is what genetic illness are covered and what are considered none genetic illness???
ASK WHAT EXACTLY DOES LIFETIME MEAN AND WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY COVER, ASK THEM TO WRITE IT ON PAPER SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS COVERED and WHAT IS NOT COVERED.
