WHY IS THE PRICE NOT LISTED?
When purchasing a GSD, online, look for the price listing. If the price is not listed, avoid contacting the owner or kennel. The problems that we have experienced when we started shopping for a German shepherd dog or puppy is as follow;
- When the price is not listed they are fishing for your business.
- This a is BAIT for you to call them "to initiate contact with you".
- Once you initiate the contact, they ask what your looking for and how much you want to spend!
- OR... the dog/puppy that is on their website has been sold long time ago but they offer many other dogs/puppies for your selection that is not even listed for purchase on their website!
- OR... Their puppies are all gone to but they have VERY good breeder friends that they can contact for you and see what is available from their friends kennel!
When your budget is $5,000, they try to sell you the $2,000 dog for $5,000 to accommodate your finances and boost their profits.
If they don't list the price, they must have something to hide!
A good reputable breeder will have confidence in their puppies and their breeding program. They would be proud to list the PRICE for their piece of mind and for your convenience. There is no need to MIS-LEAD or divert anyone, simply list the price... If they are interested they will contact you, honest and SIMPLE!
