Hazardous items in your yard that are dangerous to your puppy and dog
A safe yard is good for kids and also for dogs. You should never have any broken branches with sharp edges. A pool is very dangerous for your dog. Your pool must have a safety ramp in case he falls in. You must teach him to swim to this ramp. Always supervise your dog around pools.
- Secure fence (at least 6 feet high)
- Gate must be secure at all times
- Check your yard making sure that there are no electrical wires showing or at his reach
- Other sharp object laying around (trimmers, lawnmowers, etc...)
- Make sure that the grass is chemical free and safe
- Check for Hazardous animals such as snakes
